Ever since the first time I read this line in college I have been amazed with the opportunity in Rukeyser’s words. Are you willing to honestly talk about your life? Are you willing to talk about what is holding you back from living the life you really want?
We are all master storytellers. We tell ourselves stories everyday, and sometimes the stories serve us but often they keep us stuck feeling safe in jobs we hate, relationships that might not serve us, or doing the same damn thing everyday instead of taking a risk and doing the hard stuff.
I was stuck. I know what it feels like. You don’t have to be stuck anymore. Before you can start to change your story you have to be willing to look at the story you are telling yourself. Schedule time with me if you are ready to look at your stories.
