You hear a lot about FOMO - the Fear of Missing Out.

Recently though I have been thinking a lot about JOMO - the Joy of Missing Out.

Last week I wrote about craving space and how, in this crazy not-yet-post-pandemic world we live in, it is harder and harder to get the space we need.

We feel we have to go to every meeting, event, party or we may miss out. And yet I talk to so many individuals that rearrange their life to make it work to go to all the things in their life and later think:

“Did I really need to be here?” or “Could that have been sent in a Slack or email?”

JOMO:
-growth mindset
-enjoy not having something in your life
-breathe, get space

FOMO
-fixed mindset
-afraid of missing out
-tight, controlling

Which one do you want more of in your life? Joy or fear? Space or controlling it all?

What if you are exactly where you need to be?

So what’s it going to be — more JOMO or more FOMO?

When you're having an "off" day
