What do you need to unlearn?

We rarely hear about “unlearning.” It wasn’t until I recently read “Think Again” by Adam Grant that I have been looking at all areas of my life and where I need to reassess.

What in your past do you believe that you need to unlearn?

What did your parents teach you that may have been normal at the time but is no longer serving you?

Maybe they are thoughts around money, value, worth, or happiness.

Maybe you learned that in order to be happy you had to work really hard.

Every thought we have can be changed.

Every thought we have over and over becomes a belief.

Our thoughts and beliefs can be changed, we just have to decide to believe new thoughts.

We can unlearn what is no longer serving us and believe the thoughts that we truly want to dictate our lives.

It can be as easy or hard as we make it.

It is one of my favorite things about coaching — holding the space for you to decide what you want to get rid of and what thoughts are no longer serving you.
