It is not selfish to be self-aware.
It’s actually one of the best things you can be for yourself and others.
Knowing what you want, need and where you are going in life is having a compass that directionally leads you toward your goals.
Being self-aware means we are able to pause and truly feel our feelings and emotions.
What do they tell us?
When we are angry, we can know why and decide to react or not.
When we are sad, we can feel all the feelings that come to us and be okay with being sad. We can stop shaming ourself for feeling sad and just let it happen.
When we feel happy and full of life we can live through the bliss that brings us.
Regardless of what we are feeling — good or bad — the more aware we are the more we can decide, with intention, how we want to show up.
The fist step toward self awareness is willingness. It is your desire to look within and look at what you might not want to see. Are you willing to be more aware? I can show you steps you can take that keep you grounded in your own awareness. Reach out if you want to learn more.
