Have you ever taken a day and just watched your thoughts?
Like a spectator to your life, be quiet and watch the number of thoughts that enter your brain.
Are they thoughts you like or are they thoughts that kind of suck?
Do they make you the victim or the victor?
Is it hard to even get quiet, to pause, and to listen?
If it is, I have a challenge for you.
Whatever Zoom call you’re on, school activity you’re doing with your kid, or whatever else you have happening:
Start with intention to be a listener for the day.
As you slow down, watch what comes to your thought and write it down.
If you started to get frustrated in a meeting, slow down and think, why am I frustrated? Write that down.
If something makes you happy and you think I am smiling, write that down.
If you are really quiet, you should have a list of thoughts.
At the end of the day, review your thoughts.
Do you like them? Why or why not?
As you start to practice seeing and listening to YOU, it will become easier to see when thoughts are serving you and when you can decide to believe new ones.
If you want to learn more about how to create new beliefs, sign up for a free consult call, and I can teach you how to create your thoughts with intention.
