Post Lockdown: What do you want to do?

I remember a few years ago my naturopath suggested I do a detox. I did it for 21 days. Which at the time felt like a long time. When I was nearing the end, she asked what was the one thing I would want to eat after the 21 day detox ended. I told her I wanted black coffee. Which is odd, because I had never taken my coffee black.

I remember thinking I had been so good for 21 days, I’m not giving in now and eating crap food. It felt like I’d trained for a marathon.

May 4th marks Day 52 for how long my family has been quarantined. It has definitely been a marathon.

The one thing I most want to do when we are out of lockdown: Go anywhere I want.

I miss going out for brunch. Since summer is approaching I think about going to the farmers market, and the library with my son, swimming pools and all the things that make me think of summer.

What is the one thing you want to do when you are no longer in lockdown?
