Lately, I have felt like I’ve been on a roller coaster ride of other people’s opinions.

Am I doing enough at work, with my kids, with my partner and my friends and family?

These thoughts are ones we all had before Covid-19, so what is happening around us is irrelevant.

I have a secret to tell you about other people’s opinions.

They do not actually ever touch you.

What you choose to think about the opinions and how you choose to let them affect you is all in your control.

At the end of the day, when we care about what other people think, we actually need to pause and ask ourselves, “Do I believe that about myself?”

Usually, if what another thinks of us bothers us it is because we think the same thing about ourselves.

Our frustration about their opinion is the same — we already think that about ourselves.

The next time you get consumed by what someone thinks of you. Stop and decide if you believe it and focus on that, not the other person.

If you want to get off the roller coaster ride of opinions, I can teach you how to see it right when it is happening for you, stop the wasted energy and get clear on whether you believe it about yourself. Sign up for a free consult call with me to learn more.
