Precious things are made from discomfort

An oyster is just an oyster until a parasite enters its shell. The parasite is an irritant that often can later become a pearl.

So often we think of the parasite as a bad thing, but in the case of the oyster, it brings a precious result. Recently I found this idea:

“Precious things are made from discomfort.”

Damn is this true. Some of the hardest things lead to precious results:

  • Being pregnant for many women sucks — but the badass kiddo later is amazing (most of the time).

  • Starting a new business can be uncomfortable — but once you get past the discomfort it can lead to massive success

  • Running the marathon, starting to exercise, loosing the pounds — to a toned, healthy, and active body

When we decide that we are going to do something, commit to it, and work through our discomfort, we get the results we want.

Are you staying an oyster, or are you on the path to allow resistance and discomfort to also get the pearl?

I’m here to help you confidently go from oyster through discomfort and get your pearl - you just might need some help “seeing you.” Sign up for a free consult call and we can talk about the results you want, and how to get there.
