Why are you choosing that thought?

Do you ever doubt yourself? The choices you have made, the thoughts that flow through your head? Do you wonder if you are adding value at work or being present with your family at home? There are so many ways that we can allow self-doubt to enter our thoughts.

At a moment’s notice we can be enjoying the scenery, taking in the sun, enjoying life, and something someone says or a thought pops into our mind and it can send us down the spiral of self-doubt. What is the common denominator?

Your thoughts.

When you are in the bliss of the moment and someone says something that pisses you off, makes you feel bad, or guilty or whatever, it is not that other person. It is your thoughts about what they say. It is how you choose to think or react to what they say.

The question to always ask yourself is: “Why are you choosing to think that thought?”

Literally every moment we have many thoughts flooding into our mind. How we choose to interpret them, react to them, or act on them dictates our mood, feelings, and results in our life.

You get to choose.

Who am I if I am not doing?

You always have a choice
