I have been overwhelmed with physical issues these past few weeks. It has been overwhelming and exhausting (physically, mentally, and emotionally).

Someone shared with me today that they have created two lists:

  1. What you can control

  2. What you cannot control

I love this idea.

There is so much that we cannot control in our lives right now. Covid, racial injustice, climate change, politics and the election.

Yet, there are things we can do: protest, vote, donate, use our voice, but we cannot actually be in control of what happens.

What if we focused our energy, thoughts, and emotions on what we can control, and let go of all the things we cannot control?

Focus on what you can control.

Make a list.

Do it.
